The Salamanperä Strict Nature Reserve is a peaceful wilderness area where you can experience genuine Finnish forest nature. On the trail, you might spot rare forest reindeer, which were reintroduced to the area at the turn of the 70s and 80s. Remember to stay on the trail, as Salamanperä is strictly protected and an extremely valuable and unique forest area.
