
Mietoistenlahti, with its impressive landscapes, is the most significant resting area for waterfowl and shorebirds in Southwest Finland during spring and autumn. It is one of the most valuable bird wetlands in the country. In the north, the Laajoki River flows into Mietoistenlahti, and in the south, the Mynäjoki River, creating a delta-like environment in some parts. The area's birdwatching towers and trails offer excellent opportunities for day trips, not only for birdwatchers but for the whole family.
