Uittipiekka is a modest hut with an open wilderness hut at one end, and a shared rental hut at the other. The hut is suitable for independent hikers with good navigation skills. It is located in Kemihaara wilderness area with no marked trails. In the yard, there is a sauna with a separate sauna fee. The hut is accessible only by foot in the summer or by skiing in the winter. Use of motor vehicles in the area is prohibited.

A shared rental hut is a reservable place for an overnight stay where you can book a paid bed. An open wilderness hut is a shared and free overnight place for 1-2 nights (not for commercial use).

Facilities in the open wilderness hut:

  • sleeping platform with 6 places
  • wood stove for heating
  • gas stove
  • pets are allowed in the open wilderness hut in case other visitors agree with it
