Outdoor destinations
A river flows in a sunny autumn landscape. Trees grow on the banks of the river.

In Kemihaara Wilderness Reserve, the primeval forces of Savukoski nature are around you on every step. The fells and hills, large aapa mires and pine forests as well as untamed rivers and brooks winding their way through spruce forests add up to a varied landscape. Far from everyday hustle and bustle, the quiet of nature allows hikers to calm their minds. However, experience and appropriate gear are needed when visiting this pathless wilderness.
