Syöte offers more than 100 kilometres of maintained cross-country skiing tracks. The tracks cross wide open mires, climb up to hill slopes and take in rolling eskers at times.

• Dogs on a leash are allowed on almost all ski tracks in Syöte.
• There are a number of campfire sites and some wilderness cafés along the tracks.
• The ski tracks are maintained by the Syöte ski track pool.
• Skiers can purchase a ski pass to support track maintenance.
• The skiing season usually starts in November and goes on until May.
