Berry and mushroom picking is allowed. In the forest areas of Harola, visitors can find bilberries (Vaccinium myrtillus) and lingonberries (Vaccinium vitis-idaea), among others. In the spruce forests, a keen-eyed mushroom picker may come across a patch of funnel chanterelles (Craterellus tubaeformis) or other common edible mushrooms.
