The highlights of Harola include lush groves and wooded pastures where hazel and wood anemones thrive, as well as hundreds of Iron Age burial cairns in the cemetery area. The ancient relics in the area are of great value and can be explored along the nature trail, which also leads through a grazed hazel grove.

The best way to explore the Harola area is to walk the nature trail, which runs through the grazed hazel grove in the ancient cemetery area.

Many interesting bird species can be observed in Harola, especially along the nature trail.

Harola’s diverse nature

In addition to some of the finest groves in Satakunta and ancient relics of national significance, the area also includes heath forests, wooded mires and shoreline habitats along Lake Pyhäjärvi.
