The Valkeajärvi Trail offers a variety of landscapes. The route descends to Valkeajärvi through a lush black alder fen into a ravine swamp, where you can admire, among other things, lady ferns and other types of ferns. At times, the path follows the peaceful shores of a lake or pond, while in other places it winds through young pine forests. You can take a break at the campfire sites by Valkeajärvi, Vähä-Musturi, or Siitinjärvi.

The trail first passes the Siitinjärvi campfire site, following the lakeshore before turning west toward Valkeajärvi.
The trail leads through a lush black alder fen into a ravine swamp, and finally to the shore of Lake Valkeajärvi.
Following the shoreline, you arrive at the Valkeajärvi lean-to shelter.
The trail continues through varied forest landscapes to the shore of Lake Vähä-Musturi. Following the shoreline, you arrive at the Vähä-Musturi campfire site.
The path continues along the shores of Lake Vähä-Musturi until it turns toward the Siitinjärvi parking area.
