The tour starts in the heart of Vaasa, where you can admire the city’s historic buildings and bustling center. You cycle out of the city center through the residential areas of Hietalahti and Korkeamäki, eventually reaching Old Vasa, a place rich in history. The Ruin Park, featuring the ruins of Saint Mary’s Church and Wasa Trivial School, reminds visitors of the city’s early days and the great fire that completely destroyed the town in 1852.
