Spitaalijärvi demanding accessible trail leads through a light-filled pine wood to the shores of Lake Spitaalijärvi. The clear waters of Spitaalijärvi Lake were believed to have healing powers, and in the times past, it was even imported for the nobility in Russia. The full length of the trail is approx. one kilometre. There is an accessible cooking shelter on the shore of Lake Spitaalijärvi. On the return trail, there is an accessible dry toilet approx. 100 metres from the cooking shelter.

The trail starts from Spitaalijärvi parking area. You first pass a barrier to reach a forest road, from where you soon turn off onto a wide forest path paved with gravel.
The trail takes you to the shore of Lake Spitaalijärvi, where you will find a spacious, accessible cooking shelter.
From the cooking shelter, the trail again continues through the woods as a gravel-paved forest path.
After 100 metres, you will reach an accessible dry toilet and a forest road. Turn right onto the forest road, and you will soon be back to the parking area.
