The route starts from the Soiperoinen parking area. Yellow paint marks guide the traveler along the route. You can choose to walk the route either counterclockwise or clockwise.
The most magnificent part of the route is the ridge that runs between the two lakes, Soiperoinen and Rääpysjärvi. An observant traveler can spot deer hunting pits on the ridge, which are remnants of an old hunting culture.
On top of the ridge, a one-kilometer loop branches off from the path, leading to a shelter located at the eastern end of Lake Rääpysjärvi
The path leads the traveler back to the eastern shore of Soiperoinen, where the Soiperoinen day hut and fire-making spot are located. It's a good place to take a break and have a snack at the end of the trip. From the nearby bridge, it's pleasant to watch perch swimming under the protection of submerged logs.
