Starting point
Kellarilampi parking area - Riihitupa Day-use Hut
The first part of the trail follows the Kellarilampi nature path to the Kellarilampi lean-to shelter. The path is a flat gravel trail.
From the lean-to shelter, the trail continues along the northern shore of the pond towards Pytkynharju.
The trail shares the same path as the Syötteen kierros mountain biking trail until the junction at Riihitupa. There are some elevation changes along the way. The trail is relatively easy up to Riihitupa and crosses Riihisuo on duckboards and a gravel path.
Riihitupa Day-use Hut - Lauttalampi Lean-to Shelter
After Riihitupa, the trail becomes slightly more challenging due to the technical nature of the terrain, with some rocky and rooty sections.
Closer to Romekangas, the terrain becomes dry pine heath, and the walking is easy again.
Lauttalampi Lean-to Shelter - Kellarilampi Parking Area
After Lauttalampi lean-to shelter, the trail climbs steep wooden stairs up to the top of Pytkynharju.
The final stretch back to Kellarilampi follows the ridge with some minor elevation changes.
From Kellarilampi, you return to the starting point via the same path as at the beginning.
