The Purunpää hiking trail starts from the Söderlångvik Manor. At Sundsvedja lean-to shelter, you can continue to Purunpää either along the southern route with a rowing boat section or along the northern route that partly follows the roads.

The route includes challenging ascents and descents. The rocks can be slippery in rainy or icy conditions. Note: the section from Sundsvedja len-to-shelter to Purunpää is marked in only one direction and is available only during the summer when the rowing section is in use and the boats are in place. The nature at Purunpää is unique, and the headland acts as a gateway to the outer archipelago. The area offers varied terrain: rich groves, barren cliffs and the ever-present sea. From the top of Glasberget, you can get a magnificent view of the Archipelago National Park.
Please note that campfires and camping are not allowed in the Purunpää Nature Reserve. Overnight stays are permitted outside the protected area. Sundsvedja lean-to shelter is also located along the route, and you can spend the night here.
