The Archipelago Sea is the largest archipelago in Europe, with around two thousand of its islands located within the Archipelago National Park. In this archipelago - considered one of the most beautiful in the world - the scenery ranges from rugged rocky islets to vibrant island villages, and from the open sea to sheltered rocky coves. The area can be reached either by private boat or by ferry from several different ports.

Visitor's checklist

  • The National Park is a nature reserveEveryman’s Right are not valid as such in national parks.
  • Camp only at permitted camping sitesCamping is only permitted in the immediate vicinity of designated rest and campfire sites, and huts.
  • Overnight at the cruise port is allowedYou may keep a boat in the excursion port for a maximum of 2 days.
  • Make campfires only in designated sitesAlways check the current wildfire warning before making a fire. During a wildfire warning, fires are only allowed in cooking shelters with a chimney.
  • Remember to bring a trash bagBring a trash bag and take the trash with you or to the recycling point.
  • Always keep pets on a leashAlso remember a dog waste bag and clean up after your dog.
