Starting pointSyötteen luontokeskus, 93280 Syöte
The route can be started either from the Syöte Nature Center or from the base of Iso-Syöte, where you'll also find local shops and other services. Pärjänjoentie, which winds along the edge of Iso-Syöte and Romevaara, is a gravel road for its entire length. In the middle section of the route, the charming rest spots at Lauttalampi and Kellarilampi are just a short detour away. Both are nestled in the shelter of the impressive Pytkynharju ridge and located by refreshing ponds. In addition to campfire sites, both rest areas also have piers. Most of the route follows the paved roads of Syötekylä and Rytinkisalmi. Toward the end of the route, near the base of Iso-Syöte, you can take a dip in Luppovesi, which has a beach and changing cabins.
