The trail starts and ends at the Harola parking area.
This easy nature trail runs through the ancient cemetery area, which features lush hazel groves and most of the Iron Age stone cairns that make up Harola’s ancient relic site.
Part of the trail crosses a pasture where sheep graze in the summer. The sheep should not disturb visitors, and hikers are likewise asked to respect the animals’ peace and space. To ensure the wellbeing of the sheep, it is not advisable to bring dogs onto the nature trail. The sheep are doing valuable nature management work in the area. The pasture is fenced, and the trail crosses the fence using steps.
Along the trail, there are interpretive signs that describe the history of the area and its stone cairns, as well as the nature of the grazing area. The signs are in Finnish and Swedish.
