Staying overnight

The national park has two rental cabins, a very small wilderness hut, and two camping areas.

  • The nearby area offers farm tourism, hostels, hotels, and cottages to suit various tastes and needs.

Camping

Camping and other overnight stays are only allowed in designated areas within Tiilikkajärvi National Park.

  • When camping, consider other campers and overnight guests. They may be tired from their day's hikes and want to enjoy the peace of nature.

Huts

  • A rental hut is an accommodation that can be rented entirely for your group's use for one or several nights.
  • The open wilderness hut is a shared and free resting and overnight place for independent hikers.
    • There is a small day hut along the Haravapuro trail, which is suitable for a break but not for overnight stays.
  • By following the hut etiquette, you take the environment, safety and other hikers into consideration. Read the instructions and hut etiquette that can be found in the hut.
