AccessiblePohjoislahti parking area, Kajaanintie 1655, Rautavaara (road no. 870). The address is for the forest road to Pohjoisniemi. Space for approximately 15 cars. The road to the Pohjoislaht trailhead from main road no. 87 is not ploughed, but space for a few cars is cleared at the intersection. Visitors can ski along the roadway to the park from here.
