Snowshoeing

Some of summer trails can also be used in winter. These trails are not mechanically maintained, so after snowfall they may be covered. The snowmobile-groomed winter trail network is well-suited for snowshoeing, especially if you're planning a trip to one of the wilderness huts.

The snowshoeing trails are shown on the printed Syöte ski map, which can be purchased not only at the Syöte Nature Center, but also at Tunturi Market and Syöte Central Booking Office.
