The fell and hill nature changes with the seasons and offers opportunities to capture landscapes and phenomena. The old-growth forest, northern lights, mires and the life of fell nature are very picturesque.

Bilberries (Vaccinium myrtillus), lingonberries (Vaccinium vitis-idaea) and cloudberries (Rubus chamaemorus), as well as crowberries (Empetrum nigrum) are delicious and bring back memories even in winter. The mushroom lover can collect boletes (Boletus edulis, B. pinophilus, B.reticulatus) ragile brittlegills (Russula fragilis) and milkcaps (Lactarius trivialis, L. utilis).

Hook and line fishing are permitted.

Lure fishing is possible with a Fisheries Management Fee (eraluvat.fi) .

Some of the water bodies in the area belong to the Western Lapland angling permit area.

Net fishing is not allowed in the waters of the area.
