Hiking & outdoor recreation
The Pesiö trail through the area is best suited for day trips. The landscape changes frequently, and most of the trail is easy to walk. In the northern ridge area, there are a few short but rather steep climbs.
Along the trail, there are many small attractions: rocky cliffs covered with moss and lichen, tempting views glimpsed through the trees, higher vantage points, impressive anthills, and gray wooden sculptures shaped by time and fire.
The trail can be walked even with light shoes during snow-free and dry seasons, but elsewhere in the terrain, standard hiking gear is required.
- Starting point in the north: At the intersection of Majaanjoentie and Lehtoseläntie.
- Starting point in the south: Parking area along Losontie.
