The Pesiö hiking trail leads through the landscapes of the Hiidenvaara Nature Reserve. Along the route, there are rocky spruce forests, small ponds, and beautiful little mires. More open waters can also be admired. The northern part of the trail runs along echoing ridge terrain, partly outside the Hiidenvaara area.

  • Temporary camping in the area is allowedTemporary camping with Everyman’s Right is allowed, except for parking areas. You can stay overnight in motorhomes in the parking area.
  • Make campfires only in designated sitesAlways check the current wildfire warning before making a fire. During a wildfire warning, fires are only allowed in cooking shelters with a chimney.
  • Remember to bring a trash bagThere is no recycling point in the area. Bring a trash bag and take the trash with you.
  • Always keep pets on a leashDog waste should be cleaned away from the paths.
