The use of the trails and structures of Auttiköngäs for business activities is always subject to a fee, and for frequent business use, a contract with Metsähallitus (metsa.fi) is required.

Research activities, organised events and the shooting of films or advertisements in the terrain always require a permit from Metsähallitus. Additional information: permits for research and getting around in nature (metsa.fi), permits and notifications regarding events (metsa.fi).

Forbidden

Making campfires is strictly forbidden, even at the campfire sites, when there is a wildfire warning in effect. The ban does not include the fireplace inside day-use hut Uittopirtti.
Letting pets run loose.
Damaging soil or rock, and extraction of earth material or minerals.
Driving motor vehicles, except on roads designated for motor vehicles.
Leaving waste in the area, or damaging constructions.

4e:T45a,### Equipment * Even thouhg the nature trails are short and easy to follow, it is worth taking along some light hiking equipment, such as a water bottle, snacks, matches and a sheath knife. Take your binoculars with you if you wish to observe the birds. * In dry weather, the nature trail can be walked in sneakers, but in wetter weather, it is a good idea to wear waterproof footwear.
