Snowshoeing
There are no marked winter trails in the area, but the Auttiköngäs Nature Trail is suitable for snowshoeing.
Berry and mushroom picking
You can pick berries and mushrooms in the Auttiköngäs area. Blueberries and lingonberries grow on the slopes of hills.
Fishing
There is no fishing allowed 100 metres downstream from the waterfall. Otherwise, you may fish in the area with a Metsähallitus fishing permit (eraluvat.fi). Fishers between the ages of 18 and 69 must also pay the fisheries management fee (eraluvat.fi).
