Vuoksenniska forest trail winds through the Salpausselkä ridge, passing by the Vuoksenniska school and sports field, situated between the Kaukopää industrial area and Vuoksenniskantie road.

The nature trail, designed on top of and partially on the southern slope of the Salpausselkä ridge, showcases the forest nature of Salpausselkä.
The trail is approximately 2.5 km long. It is easy to walk, but occasionally deviates from the path into grassy terrain, so waterproof footwear is necessary in rainy weather. The area also features the Vuoksenniska fitness track, which intersects with the nature trail multiple times, so be sure to follow the signs! The trail stops introduce all common forest trees and shrubs, as well as field and ground layer plants, grasses, mosses, lichens, and fungi. Information about typical birds and mammals of the forest area is also provided. A few stops cover topics related to forest management, environmental protection, and the history of the area.
Along the trail, you will find a monument commemorating Marshal Mannerheim's 75th birthday.
