The name of this trail, Läntisen Keitaan lenkki, refers to the raised bogs that are found in Valkmusa. An observation tower located on the trail provides a wonderful view over an extensive bog area. In the spring, the observation tower is a good place to watch the ospreys (Pandion haliaetus) returning to their nests and listen to the calls of black grouse (Lyrurus tetrix) coming from the mire. Most of the trail is duckboards and suitable for people of all ages.
