The trail takes you from the excursion harbour at the northern tip of Selkä-Sarvi to an old fishing village at the southern end of the island. The trail is approximately one kilometer in one direction.

Starting point: The excursion harbour at the northern end of Selkä-Sarvi. Coordinates: 65°36.9' 24°12.0'.
The easy-to-travel Selkä-Sarvi summer hiking trail begins at the excursion harbour on the island's northern shore and ends on the southern shore at the old Ailinpieti fishing base.
The trail is approximately 1.2 km in one direction. Parts of the trail are on duckboards, and some sections are on a path covered with wood chips.
End point: The old Ailinpieti fishing base.
