The Seittelinreitti trail introduces hikers to the nature of the Sarvikallio recreation area. Along the trail, there are views of the surrounding cultural landscape and the nearby wetlands. The highlight is of course the stunning view of Lake Tuusula from the top of Sarvikallio. Many visitors also love the winding path with its gentle “bumps,” and the long boardwalk through the spruce forest. Seittelinreitti is a multi-use route, suitable for both walkers and cyclists. When cycling, please be mindful of other users and adjust your speed accordingly.

The Seittelinreitti trail begins and ends at the Sarvikallio recreation area car park at Sarvikalliontie 35, 04300 Tuusula.
It is recommended to walk or cycle clockwise, and the signposts have also been placed that way. The trail is marked with orange markers on the trees. There is no winter upkeep. From the parking area, the route begins on a gravel road before quickly turning into the forest onto a hard-surfaced gravel path that is about a metre wide. The trail winds through the forest until reaching a boardwalk about a hundred metres long.
After the boardwalk, the path continues along the hard-surfaced trail, crosses Sarvikalliontie, and climbs to the top of Sarvikallio. At the top, the trail runs along rocky terrain, which can be slippery in wet weather.
From the top, the trail descends via a gravel road to Sarvikalliontie, which you will follow for about 250 metres before the path continues in the forest along a hard-surfaced gravel trail. The trail crosses Haaparannantie and eventually loops back to the parking area.
There are a couple of points where you can shorten the trail by following either Sarvikalliontie or Haaparannantie. The trail passes a set of stairs leading down to the shore. There are two campfire sites along the trail, both located at the top of Sarvikallio. Nearby you’ll also find a woodshed and a dry toilet. Another dry toilet is located about 200 metres after Sarvikallio. There is a rest bench at the northwestern bend of the trail. At the parking area there is a general waste bin.
