As of June 1, 2025, firewood supply and toilet maintenance have ended at the lean-to shelters and toilets of Kangaslampi, Koivuköngäs, and Iso-Kuulea, as well as at the Iso-Kuulea day-use hut in Korouoma. Other campfire siten in Korouoma will continue to be maintained.

The structures will remain in place, but no further maintenance visits will be carried out. Hikers may use any remaining firewood at the rest areas until it runs out, and the toilets may be used until they are full. Collecting firewood from the protected area’s forests is not allowed if the provided firewood has been depleted.

Other campfire sites in Korouoma will continue to be maintained.
