The Könkäänvaara Trail takes you to the top of the Könkäänvaara Hill, which is surrounded by old pines. The trail is both narrow and rocky and can pose challenges to a hiker but the rugged forest landscape bring peace to your mind. You can take the trail as a circular route or as a hike between the Makialampi and Vaattunkiköngäs parking areas. It is recommended that you wear ankle-support footwear and you should also note that the rocks, boulders and roots may be extremely slippery when wet or frosty. There are no campsite structures along the trail.
