On Heretty nature trail, you can be amazed by a large boulder resting on three small stones and have your picnic at the idyllic Kannuslahti rest stop on Kurkijärvi Lake. There are eight nature trail information boards along the way, explaining the history of forest use and nature.

- Campfire siteAlways check for any wildfire warnings in effect before making a fire.
- Camping permittedCamping is only permitted in the immediate vicinity of marked rest areas and campfire sites and huts.

- Remember to bring a trash bagThere are no waste bins on the trail. Bring along your own trash bag and take your waste out with you when leaving.

The trail starts behind Heretty Loggers’ Cabin, at the corner of the sauna. Trail markings: green squares.
The trail passes through forest terrain with height differences and there are lots of rocks and roots on the path.
The last kilometer of the trail is fairly easy. Kannuslahti cooking shelter, which can be reached by a path leading a hundred metres off the trail, is an ideal place for a picnic.
