The accessible dry toilet is located about 100 meters before the actual Haukanhieta parking area, next to the main road. During peak season, traffic on the road may be busy, and cars may be parked along the roadside.
To access the trail, you pass a barrier, after which the route continues downhill along a gravel road.
The trail curves toward the shore at the location of the pump well. It narrows into a reinforced path that winds through a bright pine forest.
At the end of the trail, there are two accessible cooking shelters offering a view of the sandy beach and Lake Haukkajärvi.
There is no accessible route to the actual beach, as the slope descending from the cooking shelters is steep and soft. The beach area consists of soft sand.
From the cooking shelters, the return to the parking area follows the same route.
