Discover Harjureitti – “Little Lapland” in the heart of southwest Finland! This 28 km trail takes you through peaceful pine forests and along scenic ridges. Walk, bike, or ski – every season brings something special. In winter, enjoy snowy paths and smooth ski tracks. 14 km of the route is lit, so the adventure doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. Well-marked trails and many route options make exploring fun and easy!

Explore the beauty of Harjureitti – a well-marked trail through stunning ridge landscapes. Choose from many route options, all clearly signposted with maps at starting points.
Along the way, you’ll find cosy rest spots with shelters, campfire places, dry toilets and firewood. One popular starting point is Kantolaavu campfire shelter, located along the Säkyläntie road — from here, it’s just a scenic 2.4 km walk to the panoramic shelter at Porsaanharju ridge.
While the trail is mostly easy-going, gentle elevation changes add just the right amount of variety and fun challenge. Harjureitti is ideal for walking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing in winter. Thanks to the dry pine forest, you can even enjoy it in regular trainers.
Discover the rich nature of the area along the trail with the help of info boards, stroll through scenic wetlands on duckboards, and keep an eye out for species like the Arctic blue butterfly, goldeneye, or the redstart. The route runs through a protected Natura 2000 site.
As the area borders a military training zone, please remember to stay strictly on the marked trail.
