The Oulanka Visitor Centre is located in the heart of Oulanka National Park. The centre provides information about the park and its most scenic hiking trails. It also offers hiking advice for several other nearby nature destinations.
Restaurant Talonpöytä Oulanka operates within the visitor centre, offering delicious lunch and tasty café services.
Free entry. Also pets are welcome.
Oulanka Visitor Centre will exceptionally open a couple of hours later on Thursday, 18 September 2025.
Oulanka Visitor Centre will exceptionally open at 12:00 on Thursday, 18 September 2025. The restaurant Talonpöytä will be open as usual from 10:00 to 18:00. On other days in September, the visitor centre is open from Tuesday to Saturday between 10:00 and 17:00.
Korvaamattomat exhibition at the Oulanka Visitor Centre
The exhibition Korvaamattomat – Insights into the World’s Keystone Species by non-fiction author Juha Kauppinen and illustrator Janne Toriseva will be on display at the Oulanka Visitor Centre from June 28 to September 27, 2025.
