The Silisjoki crossing boat is in place and available for hikers. When the boat is taken out of use at the end of September 2026, we will inform you separately. The Silisjoki can also be crossed by wading; the wading point is located east of the boat crossing point, at the island in the middle of the river. Crossings of waters are always at the hiker’s own responsibility. It is advisable to practise wading in running water and familiarise yourself with the topic in advance.
