The last 2.5 km of the road leading to the Pahaoja parking area is in poor condition. The road has been damaged due to the spring thaw. The section will not be repaired. Although the road has dried, there are deep ruts in places, which make driving difficult. Driving with a passenger car is not recommended.
Kutturantie and Sotajoentie Road, which branches off Kutturantie and leads to the Pahaoja parking area, are in good condition for the first 8 km, as Sotajoentie Road was graded along this section on 23 June 2026. There are no parking possibilities along the graded section.
