There are two crossing boats in the national park: Searitni and Härkäkoski. The Searitni crossing boat has been taken out of the water for winter storage. The Härkäkoski boat remains in place year-round.
The Searitniva crossing boat will be reinstalled in summer. A separate notice will be given when the boat is launched.
As winter approaches, the Härkäkoski crossing boat may be frozen to the shore and therefore no longer usable. In early summer, the first users will likely need to bail water from the Härkäkoski boat.
