Bridge repair work at Sihvonpuro in Patvinsuo National Park will affect access along the Mäntypolku Trail and the Suomunkierto Trail in October-November 2026. The work is expected to take approximately two weeks. A more detailed schedule will be announced as soon as possible.
While the Sihvonpuro bridge is closed for repairs, the Mäntypolku Trail cannot be completed as a circular route and can only be walked as an out-and-back route. The Suomunkierto Trail remains accessible via an alternative route by bypassing the western side of the Sihvonlammit ponds along the Mäntypolku Trail. This detour adds approximately two kilometres to the route.
