The trail running event will bring hundreds of runners to the trails of Pyhä-Luosto on Saturday, August 8.
The NUTS Pyhä trail running event will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026. The event center is located in the yard of Hotel Pyhätunturi, from where the 10 km, 21 km, and 43 km courses head out into the terrain, using also the trails in the national park between Karhunjuomalampi-Huttuloma-Kapusta-Latvavaara.
All the national park trails can be hiked and cycled as usual during the running event, but keep in mind that the trails can be crowded, especially from the morning to midday. The event parking area is located near the Visitor Centre Naava, and there may be more traffic than usual in the area on August 7-8.
The runners' service and first aid points for the event are located at the Karhunjuomalampi and Huttuloma rest stops, as well as on the east side of the Latvavaara mountain biking trail. The running routes will be marked in the terrain with their own signs and markers for the duration of the event.
The event is organized by Northern Ultra Trail Service - NUTS Oy. More detailed schedules and route maps can be found on the event's own website (nutspyha.fi). Participation in the event requires a fee.
