Water bus traffic to Vallisaari starts 2.5.2025

Water bus traffic to Vallisaari starts at 2.5.2025. FRS Finland Oy is responsible for the scheduled traffic. Water buses run from the Helsinki Market Square to Vallisaari until the end of September.

Major contemporary art event Helsinki Biennial 2025 invites reflection on Shelter and empathy

Helsinki Biennial 2025 brings together 37 artists and collectives on Vallisaari lsland, in Esplanade Park, and at HAM Helsinki Art Museum. Organised for the third time, the theme of this year's biennial is Shelter: Below and Beyond, Becoming and Belonging. Helsinki Biennial will be held from 8 June to 21 September 2025.

Helsinki Biennial free entry days in Vallisaari

This year, the City of Helsinki offers free ferry rides to Vallisaari on three Fridays: 27 June, 25 July, and 29 August.
