Spend a wonderful day paddling in our pure and peaceful nature. Canoeing brings you close to nature life. For the trip, you get good advice from our guide on handling the equipment and tasty picnic lunches, including local food. A break by the campfire on a nature-protected island will leave you with an excellent memory of the trip. We guide you through the use of the equipment and ensure that everyone knows how to operate it safely. After this, we will tell you about the area and suitable excursion destinations. The resting places during the day are made for paddlers without nearby neighbors. We have a pier, a campfire place, a table, a wood shed, and a dry toilet at the sites. We give you picnic food for everyone. The snacks are typical Finnish snacks applied to a paddling trip. Local food, coffee or tea, water to drink, campfire sausage, filled bagels, and vegetables are included. Also included are the necessary tools, coffee pot, cups, and accessories are also included for lighting the campfire. Maps of the area, familiarized with the guide, are also included. On the trip, you can experience and see a wide variety of natural life. Canoes are great for people who are new to paddling. For experienced paddlers, it is possible to go on a trip with a single or double kayak. Our guides usually are present at the time of departure and return. You can get a tour guide for the entire trip or a rest break by the campfire.
Canoe, SUP Board and Hiking Equipment Rental from Lapinsalmi Rental Base in Repovesi National Park

Take a hike in the wonderful Repovesi National Park. Rent a canoe, SUP board or even a tent from Lapinsalmi rental base. The gate of Lapinsalmi is the most popular gate of Repovesi National Park. From this the gate, you can start a canoe trip into the inner parts of the park or start e.g. a circle trip with canoeing and hiking sections. The Lapinsalmi area is excellent for sup boarding. From Lapinsalmi to the southeast the waterways are meandering and sheltered. There are also nice fireplaces on the journey on the shores. You can rent a canoes and SUP boards on an hourly or daily basis. Rentals include e.g. vests and paddles. You can also rent tents, hammocks or, for example, a forgotten sleeping pad from the rental base. Lapinsalmi Rental Base is located at the gate of Lapinsalmi just right between the parking lot and the shore about 50 metres from parking lot and 100 metres from the shore and serves as a self-service rental base at all times of the day. We will paddle on clear lakes in Repovesi National Park, taking a little break by a campfire. We might see many birds during the trip, such as blackthroat divers and osprey. In Repovesi National Park, you can rent a tent sauna either in the Valkjärvi rental camp area or in connection with the rental Lapp huts. You can order a tent sauna for 14-18 people or 6-8 people at the Valkjärvi rental camp area. The larger tent sauna can also be ordered with options such as "a big sauna", "two saunas, "a sauna with a separate dressing and washing rooms", or "a sauna with a dressing room". In connection with the rental Lapp huts, you can rent a tent sauna for 6-8 people or a tent sauna service on an hourly basis. We do popular hiking trips led by a certified Repovesi National Park guide on the park's most popular trail, Ketunlenkki. We cross the water twice during the trip, by a small ferry, and along a suspension bridge. A visit to the high viewpoint gives excellent sight of the area's waterways and forest areas. There you can feel the peace of nature by getting quiet and listening to the sounds of nature. During the trip, we will take a break at the campfire site and enjoy soot pot coffee or tea with traditional Finnish snacks or eat delicious lunch soup. We can also include entrance coffees with a tasty filled bagel on the trip. Meals include local food, and we avoid using disposable dishes. The hiking trail is partly challenging due to the height differences but is generally suitable for everyone. The guide takes care of the appropriate travel speed. The trip is about five kilometers and takes 4-6 hours, depending on the content. The group can be just a few people or much larger. We have experience with groups of up to a hundred people. We make excursions from spring to autumn.
Snowshoe and wide skishoe rental in Repovesi National Park

Self guided winter hiking trip in Repovesi National Park, perhaps on the marked trail (3,8 km), which starts at the gate of Tervajärvi. You can rent snowshoes and wide skishoes from the Tervajärvi self-service Rental Base. You find snowshoes for children also from Rental Base. The snowshoes are large and drop-shaped and therefore carry their walkers well. Snowshoes allow the feet to move naturally, making it light to move even in soft snow. With wide skishoes, you can move agilely both in forest and in more open terrain. The best features of wide skishoes are evident in forested terrain with height differences, which makes it possible to climb hills and slide to slopes. The rentals includes adjustable aluminium-framed poles! Snowshoes and wide skishoes can be rented on an hourly or 24-hour basis. The duration of the hourly rental can be 4, 8 or 12 hours. Rentals can be booked to start at 09:00, 13:00 or 17:00.

With a rowing boat, you can enjoy in the evening sun of Tervajärvi or fish in the morning mist. You can rent a canoes, SUP boards and boat on an hourly or daily basis. We rent high-quality canoes, kayaks, and SUP boards for a day trip or longer. Our paddling guide tells you how to use the equipment and about the area. Our paddling port, Repojotos, is on a clear lake near Repovesi National Park. In addition to the lakes, our area also has an excellent canoeing route along winding rivers and narrow lakes for about 24 kilometers. In this case, our paddling harbor is in most cases, the place of return. We organize the transport of the equipment to the place of departure. You can leave your car at Repojotos. From there, you can get to the starting point with equipment transport. Your kayaking destination can also be the village of Verla. There you can visit Unesco World Heritage Site at the Verla Mill Museum. It is about 11 kilometers from us. You don't have to paddle back, because you can get a transport service from us if you want. Repovesi National Park can be reached by paddling from us as well. However, that route is suitable for a more extended trip, where you spend the night in a tent. Our transportation service helps you find a suitable excursion to visit the park. We always give the Renters good guidance on the equipment and everything necessary, such as paddling vests for everyone and waterproof sacks for those who need them. Before starting the trip, you will get to know the maps of the area under the guidance of the guide, and you will get recommendations on destinations and places to rest that are suitable for you.
