The maintenance work will be carried out in the mornings from Tuesday to Thursday, July 15–17, on the trail around Lake Kesänkijärvi. The work will affect both the trail and the parking area at the end of Road Sahatie, near Lake Kesänkijärvi. The trail is located in Äkäslompolo, in the southern part of the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park.
Duckboards in poor condition at Hormistonjänkkä bog area in Äkäslompolo
The wooden duckboards crossing Hormistonjänkkä are currently in poor condition in some places. Trail users are advised to exercise caution due to damaged structures.
