The distance to Otajärvi is about 80 km from Turku and about 20 km from Rauma.

Otajärvi is signposted from Highway 8 (Turku–Pori) at Pyhäranta Ihode. From the highway, it is about 6 km to the lake.

Parking areas are located at the nature hut in Nuuski (Kodisjoentie 423, 27320 Ihode) and on the Kodisjoki side (Luhtakanantie, Rauma).
