There are several bus connections that run daily between Oulu and Liminka. The nearest bus station is located in Liminka 6km from the visitor centre. From Liminka, there are connections to Raahe and Lumijoki. The visitor centre is located along this route.

The nearest railway station is in Kempele 20 km from the visitor centre. Oulu railways station is about 30 kilometres from the Liminka Bay Visitor Centre. The connection from Oulu is by bus.
