Kurimonkoski can be reached by car via Kurimontie from the north. The parking area is located on the north bank of the Kiiminkijoki River. The bridge crossing the Kiiminkijoki at Kurimonkoski is closed due to poor condition, so it is not possible to drive to the parking area from the south via Kurimontie from the Särkijärvi direction.

You can drive to Kurimonkoski from either Utajärvi or Puolanka. Due to the bridge closure, access to Kurimonkoski is via a turnoff at Juorkuna from Puolangantie to Olvasjärventie. Drive about 2 km, then turn right onto Salontie. Salontie becomes Kurimontie, which you follow all the way to the Kurimonkoski parking area (approx. 23 km).

There are no public transport connections to Kurimonkoski.
