The National Park is situated in the outer archipelago, in the southern part of the Southwestern Archipelago. The National Park can only be reached by sea. The nearest ferry harbours are located approximately 70 km from Turku in Pärnäis in Nauvo and approximately 180 km from Helsinki in Kasnäs in Kemiönsaari.
It is especially crowded at the landings on weekends in June-August, there is usually plenty of space on weekdays. The ferry harbours are accessible by car. Harbours usually have free state-owned parking areas as well as paid, private parking spots.
