The Loppula Accessible Activity Trail begins at the Loppula parking area in Sanginjoki, in the immediate vicinity of the Loppula nature cafe. The trail is gravel-surfaced, about three metres wide and runs on flat terrain.
The trail starts at the edge of the Loppula parking area, which has an information board and a map of the trail.
The trail first crosses the Sanginjoentie road, and the distance from the edge of the parking area to the other side of the Sanginjoentie road is about 60 metres. There are no other road crossings on the trail. There are no pedestrian crossings or speed bumps on the Sanginjoentie road. Be careful when crossing the road.
After crossing the road, the trail continues a few metres on a gentle descent towards the Sanginjoki River and makes a sharp turn to the right. The first accessible plank bridge of the trail comes immediately after the turn. It crosses the ditch that flows to the Sanginjoki River.
The trail then continues for about 70 metres to the next bridge. On this section, the trail has a gentle lateral slope. The first action point of the trail is located on this section. It provides information on the insects inhabiting the area.
The second bridge of the trail is about 30 metres long. The bridge has dark green metal net fences on both sides. A view of the Sanginjoki waterway opens from the bridge between the Sanginjoentie road and the Sanginjoki River.
After the bridge section, the trail continues for about 80 metres in the shore forest along the Sanginjoki River. It then merges with the connecting route starting from the Sadinkoski parking area.
After the junction, the accessible activity trail continues for about 300 metres along the Sanginjoki River to a sharp river bend. Before the bend and at the bend, there are additional activity points providing information on animal tracks, plants, hole nesters, berries, fungi and trees.
At the bend of the Sanginjoki River, the accessible activity trail also makes a westward turn and continues along the riverside for about 100 metres. Here it again crosses a short bridge and continues to the last activity point focusing on life under water.
After the activity point, the trail continues for about 50 metres to a viewing platform on the river bank. The platform offers a view to the wide stagnant section of the Sanginjoki River. The viewing platform is accessible.
After the viewing platform, the trail continues for about 50 metres to the Sadinkoski accessible campsite.
The return journey follows the same trail. The trail continues as a four-kilometre Loppulan kierros Trail but the section after the Sadinkoski campsite is not accessible.
