For just over half of its route, the Korpilammen kierros Trail shares the same path with the much longer Isokankaan kierros Trail. The trail features duckboards and gravel-hardened sections. The trail mostly runs on a narrow path carved into the terrain.
The Korpilammen kierros Trail begins close to the Loppula parking area where you turn to the right from the closed Korpilammentie road. For the first 0.5 kilometres, the trail runs as a narrow path carved into the terrain in a spruce-dominated forest and on the shores of the Korpioja River. Especially along Korpioja, there are roots and places that can be slippery after rain.
After Korpioja, the trail continues for about 0.3 kilometres on wooden duckboards, bridge structures an on a narrow path with protruding roots to a junction, from which you turn to the left. After a short section, the trail crosses a forest road and continues for about 0.3 kilometres to the next junction, from which you turn to the right. On this section, the trail crosses the Korpioja River on a bridge. Note that especially in wet weather, the trail may be muddy and slippery in places.
After the junction, the trail continues northwards for about 0.9 kilometres to the Korpilampi campfire site and the viewing platform on the shores of the pond.
From the campsite, the trail continues northwards along the service road between the campsite and a firewood storage shed and soon turns to the left. On this section, the trail runs on duckboards. The distance from the campsite to the junction where the old and new trails meet is about 0.5 kilometres. Take the new trail, which goes to the right and continue to the duckboard section of the Korpilammensuo mire.
The length of the duckboard section is 0.4 kilometres and it makes a turn to the southern edge of the Korpilammensuo mire from where the trail continues to the right. The old trail and its rundown duckboards are still visible in the terrain and they would take you in the opposite direction.
For the next 0.4 kilometres, the trail runs on duckboards in a spruce mire. After this section, the trail continues in a dry pine forest and makes a sharp turn to the right. At this location, the old trail, which continues straight ahead, is still visible in the terrain.
The forest section following the bend is about 0.7 kilometres long, after which the trail merges with a forest road. The trail continues on the forest road towards Loppula and after 0.2 kilometres it branches from the road, becoming a gravelled hiking path.
For the rest of the route, the trail runs on a wide gravelled path for about 0.4 kilometres. On this last short stage, the Korpilammen kierros Trail shares the same path with the Loppulan kierros Trail, Isokankaan kierros Trail and the Metsänvartijan polku Trail.
