The closest train stations (vr.fi) are in Kolari and in Rovaniemi. Check the train schedule and buy your train tickets in advance.

• The railway station which is easiest to reach from the wilderness area is the one in Rovaniemi.

By flight

The nearest airport is located in Kittilä (finavia.fi). There are only charter flights to Enontekiö Airport.

• From Kittilä Airport, you can get to Hetta in Enontekiö by regular bus service or by taxi (enontekiolapland.com), which must be booked in advance.
