The flowing rapids of Langinkoski are a magnificent sight, especially in spring when the meltwater fills the channels. The Imperial Fishing Lodge is the only building owned by the emperor that has survived outside the borders of Russia. The villa serves as a museum. The area also includes other buildings, such as a small Orthodox chapel, a fish hatchery, a fisherman's cottage, and a fishing gear shed.
